Shapes in Math, Science and Nature
Squares, Triangles and Circles
by
Catherine Sheldrick Ross
I was excited to receive this book to see how I could use it in
the classroom to teach shapes. However,
this book was not exactly what I was hoping for to use with my first grade
students. The text itself is WAY too
hard for my students. With that being said, I do believe that it would
be wonderful resource book for students that are in the upper elementary grades
and up.
Throughout the book the 3 basic shapes (triangles, squares,
and circles) are explored in great detail.
There are also many experiments which I found to be wonderful ideas
especially since they are hands on!
I received this ebook for free from NetGalley. In exchange I agreed to write this honest review.
