Emerald Tree-Free Bath & Facial Tissue

If you are looking to go green Emerald Tree-Free is a brand of bath & facial tissue that you might want to check out.

This Emerald Tree-Free Bath Tissues comes individually wrapped!  I don’t think I have ever had any toilet paper in my house that was individually wrapped!  J  It is 2-ply and is also much softer than the toilet paper we normally use.  However, it is definitely not the softest tissue I have ever used either.  The roll doesn’t disappear overnight like some brands I’ve used in the past.  I don’t know much anything about bagasse, but it is made with that as well as bamboo and eucalyptus.

These Emerald Facial Tissues came at just the right time.  I’ve had a sinus infection for the past week.  I went through the entire box of tissues!  The tissues have a texture that I’ve never felt in other tissues.  They definitely aren’t like the soft ones with lotionbut after blowing my nose a million times a lot this past week my nose survived!

I just read the bottom of the box and I learned something new.  BAGASEE is the residue from the sugar cane stalks!  Wow!  It’s amazing the things people discover that we have wasted for so many years!

Shoplet offers so many wonderful products!  Chances are they will be able to meet most of your shopping needs including medical supplies, cleaning supplies, office supplies as well as office furniture

Disclosure:  I was provided a sample of both of these items.  In exchange I have given an honest opinion of these products.

Schneider Pens - Made in Germany!!

Until last week I had never ever heard of Schneider pens.  Have you seen or heard of them before?  If not, maybe it's because they are made in Germany.  They have been a pen manufacturer for over 75 years.  Who knew?   Stride, Inc. is the exclusive distributor of Schnieder in the U.S.  They are a small, family owned busines and are women-owned and operated.  If you would like to learn more about this company click here.  Schneiders offer a wide assortment of pens and I’m going to tell you about the ones I was sent to try out.  First, I have to confess that I am hoarder of pens and can never get enough of them!!  I could summarize these pens quickly by saying simply that they are AWESOME!

Let me tell you first about the Slider Memo XB ViscoGlide Ballpoint Pens. These pens came in a pack of 4 colorful pens (green, violet, pink and orange).  When I picked up one of the Slider Memo XB Pens I was pleasantly surprised on how lightweight it actually was.  The cap fits snuggly on the top of the pen while you are busy writing!  As I gripped the barrel, it felt a little bit thicker than most of the pens I normally use.  However it felt comfortable against my fingers while I wrote.  Another important thing that I noticed was that the ink dried quickly.  Yeah!!! Sadly, these pens are not refillable!

I also received a red Slider Memo XB ViscoGlide Ballpoint Pen.  I’m not sure why, but this pen did not seem to write like the previous Slider Memo XB Pens.  Weird.  It left small dots as I wrote on the paper.  It left me curious if it would smear when I highlighted it…so of course… I tried it out.  It did smear just a tiny bit, but just where the dots were.

The Schneider Xpress .8 Porous Point Black Pen reminded me of writing with a felt pen…but so much better.  The ink is waterproof…and I of course had to check that claim out.  Let’s just say that you could use this pen when writing the address on an envelope to send a letter and it would remain readable for its entire journey.  Wow!  Pens have come so far.  I read that you could leave the cap off for THREE days and it would NOT dry out.  I decided I didn’t want to experiment with this pen...because I really like it!!

The Schneider Slider Basic XB Ballpoint Pen also has the new ink technology which allows the pen to glide by writing.  The ink dries very quickly and it did not smear when I highlighted.  Yeah!!  It has a ribbed rubber grip, and is feels small after using the previous pens…but still quite comfortable to hold.

The Schneider Slider Rave XB is a retractable pen.  It also has the amazing Viscoglide ink technology that is awesome.  There are some pens that I don’t feel like I have the control when I write.  This is one of them.   I’m not sure what the difference is…but there is definitely a difference for me.

The Slider edge 1.0 Viscoglide Black Ballpoint Pen has a three-edge barrel.  Since it has the three-edge barrel it was will probably not be rolling off of your desk.  The ink dries quickly too, which is a must for me!  It drives me nuts when I smear the ink.  I love this new Viscoglide technology!!

That’s it!  I’m done!  It is finished!  I hope you saw something that you liked.  If so, please head on over to Shoplet.  Shoplet now offers shopper over 1,000,000 products!  I'm confident that they can help you with promotional products or office stationary.  They even have a wide selection of Medical Supplies.

***Disclosure*** I received these pens at no charge from Shoplet.com.  In exchange I agreed to write an honest review of them.  The opinions expressed here are my own.

Fellowes Saturn 3i 95 Laminator Review

This Fellowes Saturn 3i 95 Laminator was sent to me a few weeks ago from Shoplet to review for them.  Oh my goodness!  Who wouldn’t want their own personal laminator?  You might say I was a bit excited when I started to unpack it.

After I read the instructions, I quickly used the Fellowes Saturn 3i 95 Laminator to laminate some centers for my classroom.  There are four buttons on the front that you push to let the machine know how thick the pouch is (3, 4 or 5 mil) or another button (that looks like a snowflake) to laminate without heat.   When it is ready to use, a green light will appear behind the button you pushed.   It did not take long for the laminator to warm up... about a minute!   If you look closely you can see the green light on the 3 mil button!   Easy Peasy!

The laminator will accommodate various sizes of documents and there are pouches available for them!  When you are ready to laminate, place document inside the pouch.  Next insert pouch with the sealed edge first.  Make sure you use the markings on the machine so the document will feed correctly. Then...sit back and watch.

To catch the lamination as it goes through the laminator, there is a bar in the back that needed to be attached (easy to do)!

There is a red release lever on the back of the laminator that you can see in the picture above.  You will need this if there is ever a misfeed in the machine. I hope I never have to use it but it’s nice to know that there is a release button available to get the misfeed out if it happens.

If you are like me, you have a tendency to forget things sometimes.   Luckily, this laminator has an automatic shutoff that will put it into standby mode after about 30 minutes of not being used.   I like this safeguard because it will save energy as well as preventing the laminator from overheating.

My school has a very nice laminator that I will use for most of my larger projects that need laminating.  However, I will definitely put this one to good use at home.  It is lightweight and easy to move from one place to another.  During the summer if I see something that I want to use in my classroom, I always print it... and now... I can laminate it immediately after printing.  Yeah!!!

I found this laminator extremely easy to use and that is so important to me.  If you are looking for a laminator for small projects, or a small office,  you should definitely take a look at this one!

I hope that you will give Shoplet.com the opportunity to fill all your needs for Office SuppliesPromotional Products, Medical Supplies, and Office Stationary.  Ordering is easy and they have a wonderful assortment of products!

***Disclosure*** I received this Fellowes Saturn 3i 95 Laminator at no charge in exchange for my honest review of their product.
The opinions expressed here are my own and reflect what I thought about this laminator.

Pentel… Don’t Leave Home Without Them!

Thank you Shoplet.com!!!  Pens are one of my FAVORITE things to review. I think I could almost be classified as a hoarder of pens!!!

Today I am reviewing three Pentel Products:

First, let me tell you about the Retractable Ball Point Pens. They come in a package of 8 different colors. As a teacher, I am always looking for pens that my students will love to use. Of course those pens are usually the ones that are the most COLORFUL!!

I was excited to see that the ink didn’t smear when I rubbed my fingers across each of the lines! Whew! Because I really love these bright colors. Each of these retractable ballpoint pens has an oil-based ink with a 0.7 pen point size. I was expecting the ink to flow a bit more freely, but I have to admit I wrote all the colors of each pen the very first thing after opening the package. If you look closely at the words blue (both) of them, you will notice they look a bit strange. Almost like it stopped and started again. However, it doesn’t matter to me. I would definitely buy these pens!!

Up next is the Pentel EnerGel Alloy RT Retractable Liquid Gel Pen. The barrel of the pen is aluminum and the color is a beautiful Aquamarine. It looks like a fancy pen, truly gorgeous! It has a 0.7 mm metal tip and it definitely writes smooth. In fact, I had a hard time keeping up with it!!! The ink just flowed!!!! And…wait for it…. It doesn’t smear either!!!

Last up is the Pentel Twist-Erase III Mechanical Pencil. I have to admit that I am not a big user of mechanical pencils. I write very heavily so it always seemed like most of my time was spent getting more lead to come out. I reluctantly took it out of the package and began to write. If you look below you will see that I wrote so hard that I poked a hole in the paper (look at the word Wow!!) Guess what… it did NOT break. I’m totally impressed. This pencil apparently has a protective tip that is designed to stabilize the lead to reduce breakage. I just might have to rethink using mechanical pencils. This mechanical pencil also has a few other qualities that you might like:
  • Latex-Free Grip
  • Jumbo Twist-Up Eraser (refillable)

I hope that you have seen something here that is of interest to you.  All of these items can be purchased at Shoplet.com. They have a huge selection of office supplies, promotional products, medical supplies, office stationary and so much more.

I received the above mentioned items for free and in exchange, I agreed to give my honest opinion of each of these products.  All opinions expressed are my own..

SMEAD is a Need if You want to stay Organanized!!!!!!

These are three wonderful products to help keep you organized.  For me, organization is something I cannot survive without and I love it when I discover office supplies that can make my organization even better.

The SuperTab File Folders come in a package of 6 and are made by SMEAD.

They are letter-size, have 1/3-cut tabs, and the area for the label is 90% larger than a normal file folder!   This extra space is something I always look for when I purchase file folders.  The pink folders are such a blessing for those of us who want to help support breast cancer awareness.  I have never been disappointed when I have purchased products made by SMEAD.  These folders are sturdy and I know they will last for many years to come.

I quickly fell in love with this dark navy 12-Pocket Stadium File when I realized that it was a tiered file.

This allows the files to be seen with such ease.  What made the product even sweeter was that it expands!  The file holds folders, 8 ½” x 11” paper and has 1/3-cut tabs.  Labels are included if you are interested in using their preprinted sheets.  To be quite honest I haven’t quite figured out the perfect use for this file.

As a school teacher, the possibilities are endlessstudent filesassessments.data When I figure it out I’ll take a picture and post it. J
The 3-in-1 SuperTab SectionFolders come in a package of twelve with an assortment of colors.I don’t know who first decided to make colored file folders but I love it!   The folders have the larger label area, have 1/3-cut tabs, and are green compliant for those that prefer to purchase eco-friendly products.  These folders have something extra that caught my attention immediately.  You have the option of whether to use the folder in a vertical or lateral position!

Instead of have just two pockets there are 3 and there is a “lockit’ flap that keeps papers in place.  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve carried a file and ended up losing items out of them.  This is definitely a feature I am going to like!
When you have a few minutes and are ready to do some serious shopping, check out all these products at Shoplet.com.   You will find a nice selection of  promotional productsmedical supplies and office stationary.

I received the above mentioned items for free and in exchange, I agreed to give my honest opinion of each of these products.  All opinions expressed are my own.

Shoplet Review: GeckoTech Reusable Hooks and Duck Tape

Admit it...you are just a tiny bit jealous that these Office Supplies weren't delivered to your front door!!!   I know I would be if they had been delivered to you instead of me!!!!

There were two packages of GeckTech Reusable Hooks.  One holds up to 3 pounds and the other up to 5 pounds.   To be quiet honest, I haven’t figured out the perfect place for these babies yet.   I’m  A-L-W-A-Y-S  loosing my keys, so I thought the front door would be that place.  It easily attached itself to the door and the keys fit on the hook perfectlythe problem was that they keys rubbed against the doorNope not a good place.

Next I hung a rather large bag that I take to work on the hook.  I must admit the contents in the bag were not very heavy, however the hook itself was too small to hold the strap of the bag very well.

I decided to leave the hook on the door for several days until I could think of a permanent place to put it.  It was very easy to remove!  All it took was a little heat from my blow dryer and it peeled right off.  I ran into problems around my house because everywhere I wanted to put the hook it would not stick because of the surface.  Unfortunately all my walls are either wallpapered, or textured and they will not work on those types of surfaces.    These Reusable Hooks work on painted surfaces (just not textured & flat or matte), glass, laminate, stainless steel, and tile.  I just need to figure out what to use them for and where!!!  Any suggestions???

The other product was a package of Duck Packaging Tape (which is pretty excitingbecause I go through oodles of Duck Tape in my classroom!)   The packaging claimed that this particular tape dispenser would not make any noise while being used.  I found that kind of amusing because I know how annoying the sounds can be while dispensing tape!!   But do you know what!!!! It was amazingly quiet.  While my students were completing their morning work, I made some little books for them and I always reinforce the stapled binding with Duck Tape.  Nothing!!!  Not a peep out of that dispenser!  You’ll have to try it yourself if you don’t believe me.

If you are shopping for office supplies or office stationary, I encourage you to check out Shoplet.com.  They also have a nice selection of  Promotional Products if you are looking for new ideas to promote anything!!

Disclosure:  I received samples of these products from Shoplet.com in exchange for my honest review.  All opinions expressed are my very own and I did not receive any other compensation,

Neenah Astrobrights Colored Paper & Cardstock Review

Wow!  Would you take a look at those bright colors!!  These  Neenah Astrobrights  paper & cardstock are definitely BRIGHT!

As a teacher, I go through a tremendous amount of paper throughout the year.  I always print my weekly newsletter on colored paper…in hopes of catching the attention of parents.  I must say though that I’m really excited to use these amazingly bright sheets of paper!!!!   Surely they won't miss these!

The quality of this colored paper is an added  bonus!  My little first graders get so excited when I give them colored paper to work on one of their projects.  As a matter of fact, yesterday we celebrated “Orange You Glad You Can Read” Day…and everything was printed on this orange paper!  You could feel the excited when I handed out my papers!  J
This Neenah colored paper comes in a package of 500 sheets, and measures 8 ½ x 11, with a weight of 24 lbs.  It can be used in inkjet printers, laser printers or copiers!  Now... are you ready for what they are called?
LIFT-OFF LEMON
PULSAR PINK
MARTIAN GREEN
COSMIC ORANGE
VULCAN GREEN

The colored cardstock is available in a package of 250, paper size of 8 ½ x 11, and a nice heavy weight of 65 lbs.  They guarantee that it work in laser and inkjet printers...  and it worked perfectly for me!.  As you can see from the picture above, this cardstock has a bright selection of colors.  I just have to share with you the names of these colors too:
COSMIC ORANGE
SOLAR YELLOW
TERRA GREEN
VENUS VIOLET
FIREBALL FUCHSIA

Last week, I used this heavy cardstock to make a few centers for my classroom.   It printed beautifully and they (the centers & the bright colors) were a huge hit with my students!!!

Smead Product Review - Folders & Step Index Organizer

Have I mentioned lately how much I love Shoplet and all their office supplies?  They are truly a wonderful company to do business with and they have never disappointed me when I have ordered products from them.  I am all about being organized, so I definitely welcomed each of these products when they were delivered to my doorstep.  If they can help me stay even more organized than bring it on!

This Step Index Organizer has already found a permanent place in my organization.  I don’t know about you guys, but I have a mailman that is more than eager to drop nasty little bills in my mailbox.  So now… this handy dandy little file system is holding precious mail until they are paid.  It is the perfect size to carry from one place to another, and I don’t have to worry about anything falling out because it can be closed up easily.  There are 12 pockets inside and it comes with inserts (A-Z) that can help you alphabetize what you put inside.  One interesting thing about this  organizer is the tiered tabs.  The ones in the front are the same height…but the ones in the back have been moved up just a bit, for easier view.  Yip!  I’m loving that!  I haven’t decided how I’m going to label the tabs…so for now they are blank.  It looks like it is going to be sturdy enough to last for awhile and the silver bumpy texture allows me to get a good grip so it doesn't slide out of my hand while carrying it.

The Erasable SuperTab File Folders are a brand new idea for me!  Say WHAT!  Erasable!  My first response was yeah…right!!!!  So of course I had to check it out for myself.  It does erase…but it also required med to add more pressure (which I wasn’t expecting) and thus requires more patience from me. So… would I purchase them???  Honestly, I don’t know… Currently, I laminate folders that I use over and over again so… I probably would not replace the folders I currently use.  But still, it is nice that you have the option to erase and reuse them.  The package does state that you need a white eraser and permanent marker.  These manila folders are letter size, come in a package of 24 and have the 1/3- cut tabs.

The Erasable FasTab Hanging Folders are a product that I will definitely purchase.  Just like the manila folders discussed above, they have the erasable tab.  If you have never used hanging folders you don’t know what you are missing!  They require some elbow grease and patience also to erase…but it will be worth it to me.  What I especially like about these hanging file folders is that I don’t have to print… resize…print again and again until I get the name of the file to fit perfectly in the space allowed for the tab.  These hanging folders are blue, red and green.

I have wanted folders like these for a long time… I just didn’t know they made them.  These are called Organized Up Heavyweight Vertical File Folders.  The colors are red, olive green and a purplish.  Not what I would have ordered for myself, but they will certainly do the job.  Papers fit in them nicely and when you pull them out they are in the right position!!! The folders do have a tab for the upright position and in the normal place of files…So you get to decide where you want to add the labeling at.

If you need an item to advertise your business with Promotional Products... or purchase medical supplies... or find office stationary, please give Shoplet a chance to meet your needs.

Please note that although I received these items at no charge, the opinions expressed about each of these products are my own.

Avery Binder & Labels Review

A few weeks ago Shoplet.com ask me to review a couple of Avery products.   Oh yes I would!!   It took me a few weeks to figure out what I wanted to use them for...but I finally did it!  My camera in my phone is totally messed up…so I can’t post pictures right now, but I will as soon as possible.

First up is this white Heavy Duty View Binder.

I use a lot of binders for my work and this one is going to work perfectly for keeping all the Data of my first graders.  The one unique feature that I really like are the metal rings.  These will hold a bunch more paper than the usual kind of binder I use.  I get easily irritated when papers don’t turn easily as I flip throughbut these rings are gap free & as of yet... the paper has not snagged on these rings.  Love it!  There is also a nice size latch at the bottom which allows the rings to open and close quite easily.  I have made an insert to put in the front and back cover as well as a label for that slips into the spine.  Easy peasy!

I was also asked to review two different kinds of Clear Label Index Maker Dividers.

There is a practice sheet that comes with both packages of labels.  I don’t know about you… but I always seem to mess up when I have a limited amount of something.  I always hate it when I mess us labels and so this made me feel so much more comfortable.  First, I downloaded the free template and the software for the labels and then typed in the information that I wanted on each of them.  I am documenting information for all my students, so I needed to print 25 different names.   After they printed (beautifully I might add), I stacked one row of dividers and then peeled off my first strip of labels.  Aligning them on the dividers was relatively easy because you can see through the labels.  I pressed each one of them down to make sure they were attached to the divider snuggly.  So easy and they look so professional on both the white and the colored dividers.  The Color Label Dividers come in a package that has 5 sets with 5 tabs (a total of 25 dividers) and the Clear Label Dividers come in a package with 8 tabs and there are 5 sets (a total of 40 dividers).  I used a laser printer but on the package it says that you can also use an ink jet printer.

I hope that you will hop on over to Shoplet.com and check out their wide variety of products.  I have shopped for so many thing there!  They have  Office Supplies, Promotional Products, Medical Supplies, and Office Stationary just to name a few things

***Disclosure*** I received the items referred to above for free in exchange for my honest review. of these products.  The opinions expressed here are my own.
