The farmer asked his dog, Max, if he could
catch the thief that’s stealing his crops. Max was eager to step up to the challenge, since he knew he had the
ability to catch anything!
Throughout the story, he meets
different animals on the farm as he searches for the culprit. Unfortunately, he continues to miss clues
throughout his search that are literally happening before him. Max continues to be determined to catch the
thief and finally goes to tell the farmer of his accomplishment.
This is an adorable book that children will
love having read to them. It is beautifully
illustrated with brush strokes using warm colors. The pictures alone will help draw the
child into the story.
